About Abdullah
Abdullah Riaz is a young renewable energy enthusiast who is currently exploring business administration in an MBA course at Lahore University of science and technology.
After his bachelors in mechanical engineering, he started his career as a mechanical engineer at an Oil refinery in Pakistan. During his tenure, he also became a certified maintenance and reliability professional. Understanding that Oil and gas isn’t his true calling, he has gone back to school for an MBA to pivot into consulting.
Abdullah has a 10kW solar panel system at his place that essentially takes care of the daytime needs and sells the extra back to the grid. Abdullah is also a published researcher with a paper in the international journal of exergy, that basically does an assessment of renewable energy-based solutions for his home city in Pakistan.
He has always been interested in sharing his experiences and knowledge with others in the area of sustainability and sustainable energy. With this platform, he plans to build a network with fellow enthusiasts and share his thoughts.
